Red Paddle Co is a British brand and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of inflatable stand-up paddleboards (SUPs). It was founded in 2008 in South Devon, United Kingdom, by John Hibbard with a clear mission to rethink paddleboard design and make high-performance boards that were easier to transport, more durable and better performing than the rigid “hard boards” that dominated the early days of stand-up paddleboarding.

The company developed its own materials and manufacturing technologies, such as MSL Fusion construction and patented stiffness systems, helping its inflatable boards set new standards for durability and performance in the industry.

Red Paddle Co expanded rapidly — within a few years selling products into numerous countries and establishing itself as a global leader in the inflatable SUP market. Its Ride 10’6” board became one of the bestselling inflatable SUPs worldwide. The brand also introduced the Red Original line of accessories, extending its reach into apparel and watersports gear.
