Death Skateboards

Death Skateboards is a British skateboarding company with roots deep in UK street culture and independent skateboarding. It was founded in 1998 in Harrow, London by lifelong skater Nick “Zorlac” Orecchio, and it remains skater-owned and operated to this day. The brand sprang up at a time when mainstream voices were dismissing skateboarding as “dead”, and the name itself was chosen as a playful, defiant response to that attitude. From the beginning Death positioned itself as an antidote to the commercial, trend-led side of the scene and the brand deliberately courted a “misfit” identity that resonated with riders who valued fun and camaraderie over polish.
