Flow – Flow is the number two snowboard binding company in the world. It was founded by Neil Pryde (of NeilPryde Ltd) and Reinhardt Hansen (formerly of F2 Windsurfing) back in 1992. At that time, snowboard technology was still somewhat basic and in creating Flow, they saw the need for improved snowboard binding technology. With the assistance of product designer Werner Jettmar, they created a snowboard binding aiming for a ‘barefoot feel’ – with a convenient 2 strap system. The Flow snowboard binding also features a unique, patented ‘Power Triangle’ - formed by a steel cable that connects the hi-back to the base plate. This Power Triangle is designed to give a more responsive ride, by adding more force behind the binding without exerting as much physical energy. Taking this revolutionary technology, in 1995 Flow designed a range of snowboard boots. In 1996 Flow launched their snowboard boot and binding range to the world at the ISPO Sports Tradeshow in Munich. In 2002 Flow also added a line of snowboards to their product range – they have since gone on to win a Transworld Good Wood Award. We stock a range of Flow snowboarding bindings, including Flow The Fives and Flow M9’s.
