Hosoi Hammer Head Limited run of re-issue decks made from the original moulds…Hosoi Skateboards is owned and run by the legendary Christian Hosoi, alongside fellow pro riders Serge Ventura and Lincoln Ueda. Hosoi first turned professional in 1981 at the age of 14 (originally turning pro with Sims skateboards) Throughout the 1980’s he was the ‘rock star’ of skateboarding, renowned for his technical ability on vert and breath taking airs.
Unfortunately he fell upon hard times in the mid 90’s and after serving 4 years in prison on drug charges he was released in 2004, and at 37 re-launched himself as a professional skateboarder.
The infamous ‘Hammerhead’ shape and graphic has been pressed in the original mould by Paul Schmitt’s PS Stix, (with modern bolt pattern)
