SHIPPING & HANDLING

UK Mainland Deliveries:

Orders placed online before 1pm are usually sent the same day. Generally orders under the value of £60 will be sent by Royal Mail and orders over £60 in value will be sent via a courier service, such as City Link or Parcelforce.

Please note that courier deliveries do require a signature on arrival, so please supply a suitable delivery address, such as a work address, where necessary. Courier deliveries usually arrive between 8.30am and 5.30pm on weekdays only.

*FREE DELIVERY – our free delivery offer applies to UK Mainland addresses only, for orders over £59.99 (excludes surfboards). On occasion, the site may not calculate your order correctly and it may appear you have been charged for delivery, when it should be free. Do not worry as we check all orders thoroughly before processing any payment, and we will amend this before charging your card.

Please note that although most deliveries do arrive within the estimated time frame, we need to wait 21 days from dispatch before we can investigate any Royal Mail missing parcels and trace / replace / refund your order.

Collect from Store:

Our retail store is based in Hove, East Sussex. If you would like to collect you order from our store rather than have it delivered to you, just select the 'COLLECT FROM STORE' option at the checkout. Please note the following collection schedule:

Delivery to Europe, UK Isles, Northern Ireland & Channel Islands:

Delivery to Europe – NOW ONLY £5.85 per order!

We now offer a flat shipping rate of only £5.85 to UK Isles, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and European countries. Delivery schedule is approx 3-8 working days.

The standard European delivery rate excludes ‘surcharged items’ – bodyboards, surf and snowboard bags, luggage, snowboards and surfboards. If you are looking to get a ‘surcharged item’ delivered to Europe, please email us at info@boardriders.co.uk for a shipping quote.

Delivery to Rest of the World:

Delivery to Rest of the World – NOW ONLY £11.85 per order!

We now offer a flat shipping rate of only £11.85 to countries outside Europe. Delivery schedule is approx 7-14 working days. We regret that we are unable to accept orders from the USA or Canada.

The standard World delivery rate excludes ‘surcharged items’ – bodyboards, surf and snowboard bags, luggage, snowboards and surfboards. If you are looking to get a ‘surcharged item’ delivered, please email us at info@boardriders.co.uk for a shipping quote.

N.B - We work closely with a selection of couriers on all deliveries, to get the best possible prices. However on very rare occasions, the shipping cost of your order may be so high it is completely impossible to send at the advertised rate. We will always contact you in this situation and we therefore reserve the right to cancel and refuse orders. All orders are also subject to availability.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE

We should have all items in stock and aim to despatch your order straight away.

If your order is placed online before 1pm Monday to Friday we will normally despatch your order that day, otherwise it will leave on the next working day.

Let us know when ordering if you require the items by a particular date, we will try our best to get you what you want when you want it.

PAYMENT METHODS

We accept Visa, Switch, Solo, Delta, Maestro and Mastercard. We do not take payment for any item until it is ready to ship. Your credit card information is sent and processed securely by SagePay. If you would prefer to order by phone, please give us a call on 01273 420142 and our orders team will happily arrange this for you.

Paying by PayPal:

Although we do not currently have a PayPal checkout in place, we can still accept payment for orders through PayPal. Please email info@boardriders.co.uk with details of your order and we will reply with full instructions.

Paying directly into the company account:

Further Information:

If this is the first order you have placed with us online and you require delivery to somewhere other than your account address (where your bank card is registered) such as your work address, we may require some identification, for security purposes. We aim to contact you within 1 working day if this is the case.

All postage charges are approximate. We reserve the right to change, amend or refuse any order. We will, of course, contact you first before any action is taken.

EXCHANGES & REFUNDS

Goods purchased can be returned for a refund or exchange providing they are received back to us within 14 days in the same condition purchased. Items must be in the original packaging with the swing tags / barcodes in place. Please note a refund will not be given on DVD’s or books.

For returns and exchanges, you are responsible for carriage costs incurred getting goods returned to us. We would advise you to return any items back to us via an insured method of delivery for your protection.

UK Orders:

We will cover carriage cost to send replacement goods back to you.

International Orders:

We will cover return postage up to £5.00. You will be required to cover costs exceeding this, where products have been changed for any reason other than being faulty or incorrect.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may also cancel your order prior to dispatch by telephone or by email. If the goods have already been dispatched and you decide to cancel your order you can return items to us at your cost, using the above procedure within 14 days from the date of purchase.

TAX CHARGES

VAT at the current rate is included on all items where applicable.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

Our Site is 100% secure - just look for the golden padlock when entering your card details, giving you peace of mind. Card details are not held in clear text on any web site. All orders are orders are subject to a series of cardholder validity checks. Fraudulent use of any payment debit/credit card will result in the offender(s) being prosecuted and Civil Court action taken to recover any costs or losses!
